Summary
The Client Service Associate is responsible for receiving and directing phone traffic; assisting clients with service requests; assisting Account Managers with service requests; and performing essential functions to ensure the quality and service standards developed by the agency are followed.
Essential Functions
- Receive phone calls from clients, insurance companies, vendors etc. and complies with the request or directs it to the Account Manager or Account Executive as appropriate.
- Prepare certificates of insurance, and ordering motor vehicle reports (MVR's).
- Process endorsements from change requests in a timely, efficient manner.
- Process mail daily.
- Process accounts payable weekly.
- Coordinate monthly agency meeting.
- Coordinate and complete mail merges and direct mailing campaigns.
- Maintain accurate data in information management systems.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as requested.

- Professional and polite telephone skills and ability to communicate clearly, concisely, in a business-like manner.
- Self-starter who is imaginative and creative with good communication skills (verbal and written.) Ability to work in fast-paced, multiple tasking environment.
- Strong computer skills with an emphasis in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook and experience using integrated database program such as The Agency Manager (TAM).
- High school education or equivalent insurance experience desirable.
- Property and Casualty License desirable.
- Knowledge of rating procedures, coverage and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain and write assigned client and prospect lists desirable.
- Two years experience in similar position desirable.
